Ruska Instruments, founded in 1944 in Houston, Texas, grew from a small manufacturer of PVT (pressure, volume, temperature) instrumentation to a leading global manufacturer of precision laboratory pressure instrumentation. Its deep tradition of pressure metrology makes it a household name in National Metrology Institutes and in other worldwide organizations with demanding pressure calibration needs. The Ruska brand features primary pressure standards, transfer standards, air data test sets, accessories, training and services.
Pressurements products, originally from Pressurements, Ltd in the UK, include a comprehensive line of pressure balances (deadweight testers). Versatile, easy to use, and accurate, these instruments include hydraulic and combined pressure and vacuum gas deadweight testers. In 2002, design, engineering, manufacturing, testing and calibration of Pressurments products were assumed by the Ruska Instruments team.
DH Instruments (DHI) was founded in 1980 with focus on metrology solutions. Located in Phoenix, Arizona, DHI grew from a distributor and service provider of pressure calibration products to the world leader in high end pressure and gas flow metrology solutions. The DHI product line includes primary and transfer standards for pressure and gas flow calibration, accessories, training and services, with emphasis on high end and automated solutions.
In 2007, Fluke added pressure and gas flow to its portfolio of calibration solutions with the acquisition of (DHI). In June 2010, Fluke expanded its excellence in pressure calibration by acquiring the Ruska and Pressurements product lines. In July 2010, Fluke unified all of its measurement disciplines under a single brand, Fluke Calibration. The new brand leverages the leading technologies and the rich traditions of a select group of the world’s top calibration companies; Fluke, Wavetek/Datron, Hart Scientific, DH Instruments, Ruska and Pressurements. Fluke Calibration now offers total calibration solutions, including electrical, RF, temperature, pressure, flow, and calibration software.
